Our Math Club offers a unique blend of activities for students in fourth, fifth and sixth grade math. Every other week, students can join us in the afternoons to explore fun math tricks, participate in riddles, and engage in math games. Additionally, every Wednesday morning, students who are interested in challenging themselves are welcome to collaborate and tackle complex math problems in preparation for national math competitions. We are proud that we've had several students progress from the qualifying rounds to the state and even national levels.
In conjunction with Campo Verde High school, Ashland Ranch Color Guard is a team of students who perform choreographed dances and routines with 5 foot flags and various equipment to a soundtrack. Typically, the color guard performs with high school marching band and travels the state to various competitions and competes against other schools. In elementary school, the Color Guard is focused on having fun, building community, improving dance skills and learning flag spinning technique! Elementary students are under the direction of current and former Campo Verde High School colorguard members.
Roadrunners with Heart Service Club meet monthly to connect with others within our community, learn more about the needs that surround us, and to complete service projects to target those needs. Through discussion, art, and projects we show how even young third and fourth graders can impact our community and help make it a better place, all while having fun!
The Ashland Ranch Drum Club is an exciting after-school drum club designed to inspire and educate elementary band students in the art of percussion. Open to all Ashland Ranch Band students, this club offers a dynamic and supportive environment where young musicians can improve their rhythm skills, explore different styles of music, and collaborate with their peers. The club also fosters creativity and expression, encouraging students to experiment with improvisation and create their own drumming compositions. Whether they're playing along to their favorite songs or composing original rhythms, students are empowered to express themselves through their music.
Our Drum Club has several performance opportunities throughout the year, including school concerts and community events. These performances not only showcase the students' progress but also instill confidence and pride in their musical abilities.
