New Assistant Principal Julie Doyle

The Roadrunner family is excited to announce the appointment of Assistant Principal Julie Doyle in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Read on to hear about Julie Doyle's passion for education in her own words.

"There were many factors that went into me becoming an educator. I genuinely love to serve and help people, my personal experience in school inspired me greatly, and most important of all, my mom being one of the best educators that I've ever known opened the door for me to follow in her footsteps.

The students, the staff, and the families we get to serve every single day play the biggest role in my passion to continue leading. I have the most respect and adoration towards every person that shows up every single day to make a difference in the lives of the children that will be our future.

I truly hope that every student and parent I work with can say that I genuinely care, that I work hard every day to give my all to be present and effective in helping them grow and learn. I want to be approachable and for everyone to feel loved and safe at school.

Among the most important things a school can provide a child is a loving and safe environment. A place where children feel comfortable to take risks so they can learn and grow. It is also important to have school be a place where students know they belong and know that every person on campus shows up every day for them. It is imperative and vital to a child's growth to know that they matter and have the support system in place to allow them to achieve their highest potential. I aim to instill this feeling into everything I do for Ashland students and families.

Thinking back to when I was in school, I have many memories that have stayed with me over the years. I genuinely think the most important of them all were the times that I knew my teacher genuinely cared about me and cared about my growth. I still remember my seventh grade reading teacher calling me a star student and it made me smile all day long. I remember the teachers that made me laugh, that kept me engaged, and gave me the hope that I would be successful.

I am grateful for this opportunity to serve an amazing school and do everything I can to ensure the success of all students.

Fun fact about me: I have many hobbies outside of school. They consist of reading, hiking, camping, a lot of outdoor activity as well as spending time with my children. That is my absolute favorite. You will also catch me at Cardinal games and Diamondback games regularly throughout the season!"
