All medications that need to be administered at school need to be brought in by a parent.  Paperwork needs to be completed.  Medications must be carried to and from school by an ADULT only.  Antibiotics are not given at school unless prescribed for 4 times daily.
IT IS OKAY to supply cough drops for your student at school.  They do not need to be checked into the health office.

Students should remain at home when:

*Feverish. Student should remain home until fever-free without the use of fever-reducing medicine for 24 hours.

*Vomiting, until feeling better for 24 hours.

*Diarrhea (loose, watery stool two or more times a day) until diarrhea-free without medicine for 24 hours.

*Conjunctivitis (pink eye)- should remain home until given antibiotic eye drops for 24 hours and no drainage in eye.

It is also a good idea to keep them home if there is a persistent wet cough, even without the presence of fever.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please call the Health Office at (480) 917-9900 X266.

We are always in need of the following donations:

New boys’ and girls’ underwear sizes 6-10.

Tissues, baby wipes, select-a-size paper towels.

Thank you!
